Kia’s new compact SUV unveiled

This is the vehicle that could just about be the icing on the cake for Kia Australia – the Kia Stonic compact crossover.

The new Kia compact crossover/SUV was officially unveiled in Europe overnight, at this stage though there is no confirmation of the model coming to Australia.

Kia say the Stonic is an eye-catching compact crossover.

Set to be offered in Europe with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, including Kia’s 1.0 litre turbo-petrol, a 1.6 turbo-diesel and 1.25 and 1.4 litre petrol.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will feature as standard in the Kia Stonic.

While a safety pack that includes Autonomous Emergency Braking is being tipped to be optional, or available on upper-spec variants.
