No word yet on Australian pricing and specifications, however we can now confirm that the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400 will land in Australia in March.

A statement from Kawasaki says ten years after the Ninja 250R was introduced a new, more powerful Ninja 400 is ready to go.

Here’s some of the key data on the 2018 Ninja 400:

  • Redesigned engine
  • Rigidly mounted/stressed member with swingarm affixed to the rear
  • No frame cross-members
  • 41mm telescopic forks
  • Larger front disc (310mm)
  • Updated ABS system
  • 785mm seat height
  • Twin LED Headlamps
  • Same instrument cluster as Ninja 650
  • New bodywork for better wind protection
