2017 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR to Debut in Geneva

Jaguar to show new 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR in Geneva.

Jaguar are using a top speed of over 320km/h to highlight the new 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR.

The 200mph capable sports car will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale from late 2016. Don’t expect the new Jaguar F-TYPE though to be in Australian Jaguar showrooms until the new year.

The new Jaguar F-TYPE SVR is lighter and faster than the standard F-TYPE.

To be offered in both coupe and convertible, John Edwards, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, says the Jaguar SVR was developed to exploit the two-seat aluminium sports car’s full potential while retaining its day-to-day usability.

“The new F-TYPE SVR is the first series production Jaguar to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design.

“The result is a 200mph, all-weather supercar that you can drive every day – we even made a Convertible version so that enthusiasts can revel in the sound from the new titanium exhaust system.”

We will keep you updated on the Geneva debut and then Australian specification, pricing and availability information as it comes to hand.
