2016 MINI John Cooper Works Convertible lands

JCW comes to MINI Convertible…

The sporty John Cooper Works (JCW) version of the all-new MINI Convertible is just landing in dealerships now, prices start from $54,900.

Featuring a 170kW/320Nm 2.0 litre turbo-petrol engine, the new JCW MINI Convertible is being offered with a six-speed auto transmission as standard, though a six-speed manual is available as a no-cost option.

With a zero to 100km/h time of just 6.5 seconds combined with the fun of open-top driving, BMW has also fitted the MINI JCW with Dynamic Damper Control and an electronic differential lock as standard.

While the MINI JCW Convertible also benefits from what the British car company says is “substantial underbody bracing” and fully integrated rollover protection.
