Larger interior promised from new 2016 MINI Clubman.
MINI sales are booming in 2015 and with more new models on the way the sky really does look to be the limit for the famous British brand.
MINI dealerships will soon have a new MINI Clubman in their showrooms too. Set to debut this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show, MINI tell us the 2016 MINI Clubman benefits from a more roomy interior and greater overall versatility.
Continuing to boast the famous MINI driving properties, of their new model, MINI say the four-door, five-seat 2016 Clubman is 27cm longer and 9cm wider than the MINI 5 door, and its wheelbase is 10 centimetres larger. This helps the Clubman boast cargo space of up 1250 litres (rear seat down).
To be fitted with a choice of three engines – 141kW four-cylinder petrol engine (MINI Cooper S Clubman), 100kW three-cylinder petrol (MINI Cooper Clubman) and a new 100kW four-cylinder diesel (MINI Cooper SD Clubman), expect to see the new 2016 MINI Clubman range in local dealerships early next year.
As always, Behind the Wheel will keep you updated with Australian availability, pricing and specification details.
