New MINI Clubman now in dealerships from $34,900.
The MINI line-up in Australia now includes the new 2016 MINI Clubman.
The 2016 model arrives with quite a number of changes over the previous Clubman model, most notably those changes include larger external dimensions and a roomier cabin too. MINI has stretched the MINI Clubman in all directions, including overall length, adding a substantial 292mm to the model!
117mm wider and with a wheelbase extended by 123mm, MINI telling us the new six-door model offers spaciousness and practicality well above the superseded model.
The 2016 MINI Clubman has a decidedly premium ambiance, according to MINI.
Offered in two model grades – Cooper and Cooper S, the 2016 MINI Clubman is powered by three-cylinder 1.5 litre MINI TwinPower Turbo engines – the Cooper version offering 100kW and 220Nm, Cooper S gets more grunt – 141kW and 280Nm.
With standard features in the MINI Clubman Cooper for 2016 including a reverse camera, alloy wheels and a sports leather multifunction steering wheel, MINI Australia boss, Kai Bruesewitz, said the new Clubman continues the ongoing renewal of the MINI product range.
“Since 1969, the MINI Clubman has stood alongside our hatch models as an enduring symbol of this famous brand,”
“Significant increases in the levels of standard specification, combined with its versatility, ensure the new MINI Clubman stands as a compelling proposition for buyers who desire functionality, but don’t want to compromise on driving fun.”
