BMW Australia welcomes new flagship X4 SUV, the xDrive35d.
Wander in to your nearest BMW dealership in coming weeks and you will find a new flagship variant in the popular X4 range – the new 2016 BMW X4 xDrive35d.
Powered by BMW’s new 3.0 litre six-cylinder diesel engine, the X4 xDrive35d boasts an extra 40kW and 70Nm over the model it replaces, the xDrive30d, and gives owners a healthy 230kW and 630Nm, with an impressive 0-100km/h sprint covered in just 5.2 seconds.
The 2016 BMW X4 xDrive35d is priced from $89,900 and boasts a long list of standard features.
Those features include Dynamic Damper Control, M Sport Package, 20” M alloy wheels, Leather Upholstery, Bi-Xenon headlights, Auto Tailgate, Navigation system Professional, Reverse Camera, Digital Radio, Harman Kardon Surround Sound System and Internet access.
As has become the standard on 2016 BMW models, an eight-speed automatic transmission is also included.
Shawn Ticehurst looks after Product and Market Planning at BMW Australia, he’s told Behind the Wheel Car News that the new X4 variant can’t be beaten for value and performance.
“With substantial increases in performance and specification, the BMW X4 xDrive35d is a welcome addition to the brand’s model line-up,”
“Since its launch in 2014, the X4 has enjoyed great success, confirming the strength of our X range of sports activity vehicles, which was recently bolstered by the arrival of the new BMW X1.”
