BMW tweaks 1 Series for 2015.
BMW has given the 1 Series some tweaks for 2015 including upgraded engines, added standard features and slightly revised exterior styling.
After almost two million BMW 1 Series sales in the past decade, BMW has now made some subtle exterior changes including revising the grille and headlight styling, introducing new larger air intakes, while LED daytime driving lights are now standard. The rear lights also benefit from a complete remodelling.
Inside the cabin, owners will benefit from the standard inclusion of automatic air conditioning, a rain sensor, and the BMW Radio Professional and iDrive operating systems. A Tyre Pressure Indicator is now also fitted as standard.
Finally, BMW has also made a few changes to the 1 Series engine range, including the introduction of a new 85kW diesel engine that uses as little as just 3.4L/100kms!
While at the other end of the spectrum, the in-line six-cylinder petrol engine in the M135i now features an additional 5kW, this takes output to a healthy 240kW!
Final Australian specifications for the refreshed 2015 BMW 1 Series range are yet to be confirmed; we will keep you updated as those details become available.
