Truck component manufacturer retains ATA partnership…
WABCO is best known for its range of braking, stability, suspension and transmission automation systems, but has in recent times also being focussing on products that aim to reduce fuel consumption.
One WABCO development has been the OptiFlow AutoTail.
The first aerodynamic tail in the U.S. to feature both automatic deployment and retraction, the OptiFlow AutoTail has been found to cut fuel consumption by up to a significant 4.3%.

ATA President and CEO, Chris Spear, says developments like these are making a real difference for truck owners and operators.
“Because nearly every product consumed in the US is put on a truck at some point, trucking companies are consistently looking at ways to improve fuel efficiency and continue moving America’s goods,”
“ATA welcomes research and development into fuel efficiency technologies, like those offered by WABCO, and we look forward to seeing the next generation of drag-reducing devices.”
