Volkswagen sales on the up again in November

The Volkswagen Group has continued to enjoy health sales growth in November 2016 with new vehicle sales data showing a jump in global deliveries of 7.9%.

The huge vehicle manufacturing business delivered 899,400 vehicles in the month across its full array of brands, including Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Audi and Skoda.

In total, 9.38 million vehicles have been delivered by Volkswagen so far this year, a steady 3.1% increase on the same period in 2015.

November 2016 Volkswagen Sales Data:

  • Volkswagen Passenger Cars – 533,500 (+7.5)
  • Audi – 154,000 (+4.3%)
  • Skoda – 97,500 (+9.6%)
  • SEAT – 34,100 (+5.5%)
  • Porsche – 20,200 (+11.7)
  • Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles – 42,900 (+27.3)

While here in Australia, Volkswagen Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle sales in November 2016 increased 9.5% in the month.

VFACTS data showing the improved November result helped arrest a 6.7% decline in local sales this year.
