Volkswagen to offer stretched seven-seat Tiguan…

The Volkswagen range will soon welcome a new seven-seat version of the Volkswagen Tiguan.

Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week, the seven-seat Tiguan will be known as the Tiguan Allspace.

To accommodate the additional third row of seating Volkswagen has stretched the wheelbase by 109mm and the overall proportions by 215mm.

Volkswagen telling us this provides the seven-seat Tiguan with ‘SUV space giant’ internal proportions with plenty of room for seven, and up to 760 litres (in five seat configuration).

While Volkswagen has also confirmed that the new offering will feature a choice of six powertrains – three petrol and three diesels and these bring outputs of between 110kW and 176kW.

A DSG transmission and all-wheel drive will be standard.

Seven-seat Volkswagen Tiguan to debutSet to arrive in European VW dealerships in September, we will keep you updated with Australian availability info in our Volkswagen Tiguan News section.
