2018 Honda Jazz arrives
As we covered several weeks ago when the model was launched in the U.S., Honda dealers in Australia are now receiving the updated 2018 Honda Jazz.
Landing in coming weeks, the refreshed Honda Jazz range welcomes an array of styling upgrades both on the inside and out.
Honda Australia hoping the 2018 refresh sparks great interest in the model among Australian light car buyers, the Jazz, in recent times, having to settle for a place behind rivals like the Hyundai Accent, Mazda2 and Toyota Yaris in the sales race.
Those cosmetic changes include a new-look front with a new bumper design, and a new grille.
The top-spec Jazz VTi-L also gaining new bi-LED headlights.
A new rear bumper bar, fresh alloy wheel designs and that striking new paint colour – Pheonix Orange, completes the exterior upgrade.
The 2018 Honda Jazz will continue to be powered by the same 88kW/145Nm 1.5 litre petrol engine, again, a manual transmission comes as standard in the base-model.
While a CVT is offered as an option in that entry model ($2,000 premium), then the self-shifting transmission is as standard across two other model grades.
On the inside, changes are led by a new 7” touchscreen audio system.
And another new addition – Honda Jazz buyers can tick the box for an optional Luxe Pack.
Costing $1,498, the pack is available on all variants, and includes black alloy wheels, door visors, bonnet protector, alloy pedals, carpet mats, door sill garnish and a luggage tray.
“Combined with Honda’s new 5 year / unlimited kilometre warranty, the refreshed Honda Jazz makes a very compelling argument for customers as one of the best equipped and best value-for-money light cars available,” says Honda boss Stephen Collins.
