U.S. version of Nissan X-TRAIL wins award…
It’s one thing for us to road test and review a car, but it’s the people who own, drive and live with a vehicle that really know it best.
That’s why we like to report on the results of owner-based car awards.
The latest vehicle to win a tick of approval from owners is the current edition of the Nissan X-TRAIL.
Known as the ‘Rogue’ in the U.S., the Nissan offering has been named Best in Class Mid-Size Crossover SUV for the second consecutive time in AutoPacific’s annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA).
Based on a survey of over 54,000 owners, President of AutoPacific, George Peterson, says the VSAs measures satisfaction with 49 vehicle attributes.
“VSAs look at the big picture, which includes owners’ experiences with their vehicle’s quality and safety, but also goes deeper into the heart of the ownership experience.”
The Nissan Rogue is Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in the U.S. at the moment with sales up an extraordinary 35% in 2017.
While Australian sales are expected to be boosted in coming months following a significant X-TRAIL update introduced recently.
In total, Nissan took out five category wins this year, though the other four award-winning models aren’t currently available in Australia.
