Sporty Renault priced from $25,290
The latest edition of the Renault Clio GT has been launched into the Australian market.
Renault says the GT provides a sporty look and feel for buyers not looking to go all-out with one of the brands R.S. models.
Available in Standard and Premium trim levels (from $28,790), the Clio GT now features just the one engine – a 1.2 litre turbo petrol unit that develops 88 kW and 190Nm.
The Renault also gets a sportier suspension set-up, while the cabin follows the theme with sports seats and steering wheel, dark metal gear shift paddles and GT badging.
On the outside the GT boasts LED lights, chrome twin exhaust tailpipes, body-coloured side protective mouldings, satin grey door mirror housings, privacy rear windows and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Available in six body colours, Justin Hocevar, Managing Director Renault Australia, says the new Clio GT makes a statement.
“We are confident the new Clio GT will be popular amongst younger buyers who want the sporty look of the GT however their lifestyle doesn’t require the additional performance of the Clio RS.”
