Styling, tech upgrades for 2 Series
The 2018 BMW 2 Series range has been unveiled with BMW providing updated pricing and specification details.
Like the BMW 1 Series sibling (pricing and specs confirmed last week), BMW has stopped short of making any serious changes underneath the skin for 2018.
Instead, the German brand tell us they’ve focused on some styling tweaks and new features for the coupe/convertible offering.
Prices for the upgraded model kick-off from $52,900 (full pricing details below).

Some of the bigger changes include new-look LED lights front and rear, the inclusion of LED front fog lights as standard, new alloy wheel designs and some new paint options – including Sunset Orange metallic (as shown).
Inside the BMW 2 Series cabin for 2018 you will find the updated iDrive6 infotainment system, an upgraded black-panel instrument cluster, gloss black centre console, new-look stitching and trim finishers.
There’s also a new leather trim on offer – Cognac.
Buyers across the different variants of the 2018 BMW 2 Series Coupe/Convertible will also be offered some updated options packs that include enhancements such as upgraded stereo system, electric/heated seats, and Adaptive LED headlights.
BMW Australia boss, Marc Werner, tells us a lot of thought was put in to the upgrades.
“The 2 Series Coupe and Convertible have always been seen as dynamic leaders in their segments, and this latest update adds further desirability with sharp looks, a high-quality interior and a strong mix of performance, dynamics and efficiency.”
