CNH Industrial goes behind the scenes

We recently reported on the Australian arrival of the new Iveco Eurocargo – one of the most environmentally friendly trucks ever built.

One of the key reasons why the Iveco is able to meet strict Euro 6 emissions standards is because of a clever bit of technology – Hi-eSCR, or High Efficiency Selective Catalytic Reduction.

The tech is able to slash exhaust emissions, especially nitrogen oxide, and it also assists the diesel engine to use less fuel and requires very little maintenance.

Developed at the FPT Industrial Research & Development centre in Switzerland, CNH Industrial, the parent company of Iveco, has visited the centre to meet the people behind the tech.
