The resurgent Lamborghini continues to find more customers across the globe with the 2016 proving the super-car manufacturers best sales year ever.
In total, 3,457 car buyers were handed the keys to a new Lamborghini in the year, that number marks the first-time customer deliveries have passed through the 3,400 sales barrier.
Overall, sales were up 7% on the brand’s 2015 sales result.
While the 2016 total is 260% more than the Lamborghini sales total in 2010.
In Australia, Lamborghini sales experienced a lift well above the global average, in total 127 cars were delivered locally last year, up 51.2%!
“In 2016 Lamborghini has proven to be in excellent shape.” said Lamborghini CEO, Stefano Domenicali.
“This new all-time high is once more confirming the substance and sustainability of our brand, product and commercial strategy.
“This is a real team achievement and it is all the more remarkable as we are at the same time preparing not only for new models in our super sports car range, but for a company-wide quantum leap in our product portfolio – the third model line.”
Mr Domenicali was referring to the brands first SUV – the Lamborghini Urus, a model that will become available next year.
