June 2017 a bumper month for truck sales

Sales up 9.2% in June

Just about every brand selling new trucks and heavy vehicles in Australia enjoyed a bump in customer deliveries in June 2017.

VFACTS data shows new truck sales increased a very healthy 9.2% on the same month last year with total sales hitting 3,879.

So far in 2017 truck sales are up 7.1% with customers ordering and taking delivery of 16,792 vehicles.

Some of the big winners, among a host of brands ending well in the positive, included Iveco (+14.4%), DAF (+28.6%) and Mack (+24.7%).
