Jaguar Land Rover to offer customers virtual reality

It’s always hard to take a peek at the latest model of your favourite car before it’s on sale, but that may soon change.

Eager Jaguar Land Rover buyers can now check out newly launched offerings by both brands before they see the real thing with the Virtual Reality Experience.

The British manufacturer is rolling out the new way of buying cars across UK dealers this month so customers can have a virtual tour of the latest vehicles starting with the new Land Rover Discovery.

Using the latest digital technology and animations, the VR Experience allows the user to see and interact with a life-size vehicle model as well as a 360 degree view of the interior.

Australian customers can expect the technology to reach our dealerships in February available in twenty languages.

Jaguar Land Rover Group Sales Operations Director Andy Goss says the introduction of the technology will have more than one benefit.

“The VR Experience will help retailers to break the ice with customers and inject even more fun into the buying process and engage customers further.”
