Ironman 4x4 LED indicator for Toyota LandCruiser recalled

A category 6 amber side indicator lamp (LED) supplied by Ironman 4×4 Pty Ltd is being recalled after it was found to not meet design rules.

Ironman 4x4 LED indicator for Toyota LandCruiser recalledThe indicator lamp was supplied as part of a suspension GVM upgrade kit on Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series vehicles.

The recall is being over seen by the Australian Competition and Consumer (ACCC).

The ACCC recall notice advising of the potential non-compliance to ADR 13/00 line of sight and visibility requirements for side indicator lamp caused by an error in the installation procedure.

The incorrectly installed side indicator may have reduced visibility to other drivers, which could lead to an accident.

Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series owners who believe they may have the indicator lamp in question should contact Ironman 4×4 or their nearest Ironman 4×4 distributor for inspection and correction if necessary.
