Honda Motorcycles not displaying at Sydney Motorcycle Show.
In what is sure to be a blow to the event, Honda Motorcycles has confirmed they will not be displaying their motorcycle range at this year’s Sydney Motorcycle Show.
In a statement released this afternoon, Honda Motorcycles General Manager, Peter Singleton confirmed that Honda Australia would skip the 2015 Sydney show.
“As Australia’s number 1 Motorcycle & ATV brand, we issue this statement so our loyal customers and other visitors are not surprised by our absence if they attend the show.”
Honda will not be completely absent from the Sydney Show however and plans to continue on as the major sponsor of the Head2Head EnduroCross at this months event.
Mr Singleton says this shows the decision was not based on a conflict with organisers of the show.
“As you can see from our support of the EnduroCross, we do not have any issues with the Motorcycle Show or the Organisers but simply want to take a different direction with our customer engagement.
“We want to give our fans and customers a more interactive experience and we need to reach out to new markets for motorcycles.”
The 2015 Sydney Motorcycle Show runs from November 20th to the 22nd at Sydney Showground, Olympic Park.
