The car company telling us the gruelling pre-production program ensures that the vehicle is fine tuned for optimal safety and maximum driving enjoyment.
The X3 is currently being tested on the ice surfaces of frozen lakes in Northern Sweden, as far north as just 56km from the polar circle.
BMW telling us the extreme conditions are ideal for fine tuning the settings activated via the Driving Experience Control function.
The ice, snow and sleet providing the perfect conditions for the engineers to monitor the vehicles dynamics and driver assist systems, such as Stability Control and Traction Control.
