Wildcat ATVs recalled over fire concerns

A recall of a small number of Wildcat ATVs has been initiated by Australian distributors, PS Importers.

The recall affects 2014-2017 Wildcat Trail and 2015-2017 Wildcat Sport ATVs.

All of the affected were sold to Australian customers between the 4th of February 2015 and the 14th of July 2016.

The recall notice advises that under certain circumstances heat from the exhaust can melt the splash panels located behind the seats.

What are the hazards?

If melting occurs it may result in a fire, posing a risk of injury or death to the rider.

What should affected Wildcat owners do?

When parts are available affected owners will be contacted by mail and requested to contact their nearest authorised Arctic Cat dealer to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle.
