All-wheel drive Ford Focus RS previewed - the Ford Focus RS will go into production later this year.

One of the twelve new performance models that Ford will build in the next couple of years has been previewed in Germany with the covers taken off the all-new Ford Focus RS.

To be built in Germany and exported across the globe, the Ford Focus RS is expected to go into production later this year and is likely to arrive in Australia in around a year.

Featuring essentially the same 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine that can be found in the new Ford Mustang, Ford are promising a power output of more than 235kW!

Raj Nair is the group vice president of Global Product Development at Ford, he says the new Ford Focus RS is a serious machine with high-performance technology and innovative engineering.
