All-wheel drive Ford Focus RS arrives in Australia

First Australian allotment of AWD Ford Focus already sold!

Ford Australia has confirmed the keenly-anticipated new Ford Focus RS is now in Australia, the only problem is all of the initial Australian allotment of the cars are already sold!

Much like the demand for the Ford Mustang, the new performance Ford model has been in hot demand from day one, however, Ford this afternoon confirming with us that more cars have been allotted to Australia and will be here soon, most likely early next year.

The now all-wheel drive Focus RS also packs more power and torque – 257kW and up to 470Nm from a 15 second over-boost function.

While standard features in the Ford Focus RS include:

  • Launch control
  • Body kit including rear diffuser and raised rear spoiler
  • Six-speed manual transmission (only)
  • 19” alloy wheels
  • Michelin Super Sport tyres
  • Brembo brakes
  • Adjustable dampers
  • Four drive modes – Normal, Sport, Track and Drift

  • Flat-bottomed steering wheel
