Wabco and Cummins team up on new supply deal

Electronic braking, stability, suspension and transmission automation systems developers and manufacturers, Wabco, have signed a major supply agreement with Cummins.

Wabco and Cummins team up on new supply dealThe deal sees Wabco manufacture and supply air compressor technology for Cummins in global markets and expands on a current joint venture between the two companies.

Under the new arrangement, Wabco becomes the exclusive supplier to Cummins in North America for air compressors used in trucks, buses and industrial equipment.

While Jon Morrison, Wabco president, Americas, says the partnership will also significantly expand the volume and variety of demand for Wabco’s air compression technologies at Cummins facilities globally.

“Alongside making further use of Wabco’s world-class engineering capabilities in the Americas and Europe, Cummins also increases access to Wabco’s current and next-generation air-management technologies,”

“This contract reaffirms how successfully Wabco’s differentiated engineering, technical and manufacturing support connects with Cummins’ business needs globally.”
