Available for sale in January 2018, the Golf GTI Original will be priced from $37,490 for the manual and boasts the classic Clark tartan patterned upholstery, ‘Original’ badging and 18” Sevilla alloy wheels with red pinstripe.
The automatic DSG version is listed at $39,990 coming under the standard 5-door GTI model, making it the most affordable Golf GTI in the range.
Volkswagen are taking pre-orders for the new but old model from this week.

Other noteworthy features include leather steering wheel, sports suspension, driving mode selection, 8” infotainment system, dual zone climate control, LED headlights and fog lights, rear view camera, driver fatigue detection, and front assist with emergency brake and pedestrian monitoring.
It will be available in only red or white with an optional $1600 Driver’s Assistance Pack.
