That endorsement for the Volvo comes with an asterisk, the V40 with the optional Safety Pack is the pick.

The Insurance research firm decided to conduct the study after they found car buyers are increasingly left confused and disengaged in regards to safety credentials.
Matthew Avery, Head of Research at Thatcham Research, tells us the confusion is thought to stem from a rise in safety jargon.
“The more safety technology is fitted as standard on new cars in the first place, the better used cars buyers will be able to access it,”
“In the meantime, simplifying and making information about safety features more widely available has to be the key.”
