Volkswagen welcomes back the Passat Alltrack to Australia.
Volkswagen has relaunched the Passat Alltrack into Australia with the model offering all-wheel drive and an additional 27.5mm in ground clearance over a standard Passat wagon.
The latest addition to the eight-generation Volkswagen Passat line-up will be priced from $49,290 and is powered once again by a 2.0 litre turbo-diesel engine, in the new one you get 140kW and 400Nm, Volkswagen promising fuel economy as low as 5.4L/100km combined.
Coming as standard with a six-speed DSG auto transmission, the new 2016 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack also boasts wheel arch mouldings and flared side sills, which offer additional body protection, according to Volkswagen.
While buyers will also be offered an optional Luxury Package for an additional $3,500. The pack comes with a panoramic sunroof, ambient interior lighting, electric foldable mirrors, Park Assist, LED daytime running lights and LED headlights, headlight washers and a chrome grille strip.
