Volvo S60 Polestar to get tweaks and a new wagon sibling.
The high-performance Volvo S60 has been upgraded for 2015 and will be offered in a new wagon variant known as the V60 Polestar.
Both vehicles will arrive in Australian dealerships in January and Volvo says the tweaks made to the performance models will be worth the wait. The improvements, which come after extensive track testing and development, include;
New 20” Polestar alloy rims
Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres (delivering better grip)
Recalibrated Öhlins Polestar shock absorbers
Latest generation Haldex All-Wheel Drive
Revised engine management calibration and transmission program
New full flow 2.5” stainless steel active exhaust system with 3.5” tail pipes
New rear spoilers (sedan and wagon) for increased downforce
The S60 Polestar cabin has also been reworked; Volvo says the Nubuck and perforated leather seats have been redesigned to give increased support, while new Polestar blue contrast details, new bespoke sports pedals and foot support finish off the interior.
The Volvo S60 Polestar will be priced from $99,990, while the V60 Polestar will cost from $102,990.
