The reworked lines of the Chrysler 300 will be seen in Australia in 2015.

A new model of the Chrysler 300 has made its debut ahead of an expected arrival in Australia by mid-2015.

Moving into production now, some of the main changes include an upgraded interior, new front grille, LED lighting and new wheel designs.

Underneath that iconic body Chrysler has moved to make the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission standard across all model grades and engine choices in the 300 range. Chrysler is also promising up to 6% better fuel economy thanks to technology upgrades for both V6 and V8 engines.

Al Gardner, President and CEO - Chrysler Brand says the changes are all about making a good product even better.

“Our new 2015 Chrysler 300 builds on its legacy of delivering world-class performance, elegance, sophistication, technology and craftsmanship - a combination that can only be found in our big and bold rear-wheel-drive sedan.”

Australian pricing and specifications, as well as a firm arrival time for the updated Chrysler 300, are still to be confirmed by Fiat Chrysler Australia.
