Updated BMW 6 Series arrives - the improved BMW 6 Series range lands in Australian dealerships next month.

The BMW 6 Series has been updated and boasts both a refreshed exterior and interior, as well as an improved suspension set-up and more dramatic exhaust note.

Arriving in dealerships in the next couple of weeks, the biggest changes introduced into the 6 Series range by BMW are cosmetic with the updated model gaining a reconfigured kidney grille and also revised front and side aprons.

Adaptive LED headlights now also feature and there are four new paint colours on offer in the BMW 6 Series line-up - Citrin Black, Ruby Black, Moonstone and Tanzanite Blue.

Improved cabin finishes, including a new glossy black pearl finish for the console, complete the cabin changes. While BMW tell us that handling has been sharpened by a suspension re-tune and the exhaust system has also been tweaked for a more “emotive, dramatic engine note”.

Available in Coupe, Gran Coupe and Convertible, BMW Group Australia Head of Product and Market Planning Shawn Ticehurst says the 6 Series is the latest BMW model to boast refreshed looks and styling.

“The new BMW 6 Series provides the ultimate palette for tailored motoring, with the boost in specification providing for a broad array of individual paint and interior options.”

“Technological advances and a refining of its already inspiring design meanwhile enable the new BMW 6 Series to remain at the forefront of its segment, setting the standard for performance and luxury.”
