BMW 1 Series gets mid-life update with added features.
BMW Australia has confirmed pricing and specification details for the updated BMW 1 Series range.
Announced back in January and arriving this month, prices will start from $36,900 for the new entry-level BMW 118i (which replaces the BMW 116i due to an increase in output and specifications), the BMW 1 Series range topping out with the M135i which is priced from $62,900.
The updated version of the BMW 1 Series boasts revised styling front and back and now also comes standard with a reverse camera and sat-nav with traffic updates.
While standard features in the entry-level BMW 1 Series petrol and diesel models include 16” alloy wheels, Sport Line enhancements and a sports steering wheel.
BMW Group Australia Head of Product and Market Planning Shawn Ticehurst said the new BMW 1 Series is a well-rounded offering.
“There has been no shortage of enthusiasm following the unveiling of the new BMW 1 Series range, and we are confident our pricing will further fuel demand for this exciting car.
“We are particularly excited by the Australian influence which has helped shape the new model, with Sydney’s Calvin Luk delivering an enthusiastically received facelift of an enthusiastically performing car.”
