Updated 2017 BMW M4 about to land

BMW M4 Pure leads changes in mid-life update…

BMW Australia dealerships will soon have an updated edition of the BMW 4 Series coupe and convertible in stock, along with a refreshed M4 line-up.

Among a number of cosmetic changes, the big news is the addition of the new BMW M4 Pure variant.

Like the M3 Pure (also announced today), the M4 Pure will be the new ‘entry-level’ M4 and while priced lower than a standard M4, it will boast more power thanks to the inclusion of the Competition Package.

This lifts power and torque up to 331kW/550Nm!

While other changes being introduced to the M4 include things like Adaptive LED headlights, LED indicators and new L-shaped LED tail lights.

BMW has also tweaked the M4 cabin with improvements based on customer feedback bringing a more tactile feel to key touchpoints such as the indicator stalks.

BMW Australia boss Marc Werner telling us the refreshed M4 and new M4 Pure are ready to take the fight up to the competition.

“We are pleased to reveal the M4 Pure variant for our local market as it puts an even-sharper focus on the driver by combining the popular Competition package with an extremely competitive price point.

“It’s a true ‘enthusiast’s choice.”

  • BMW M4 Coupe – from $149,900
