It was the heavy-duty segment that drove much of the growth – sales here were up nearly 37%.

While across the first 10 months of 2017 over truck sales have improved by 10.4%, or by about 3,000 trucks.

Celebrating a particularly strong performance in October was Kenworth, the brand achieved 266 sales – a jump of 57.4% over the same month in 2016.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks and MAN also enjoyed a boom month with a 238.7% and 385.0% improvement respectively.

While congratulations go to International Trucks for a return to the sales charts – the U.S. brand achieved two sales in October as Aussie distributors, Iveco, look to re-establish the famous brand down under.
