Toyota welcomes February 2017 car sales result

New model launched and top sales result for Toyota in Feb…

It was a great month for Toyota Australia last month with the top-selling car brand retaining the top sales crown and launching its new C-HR crossover.

That new offering (reviewed here) got off to a healthy start to life with a very impressive 320 customer deliveries in February and that was without even a full month of sales.

While Toyota celebrated having the top two highest selling models in the month, Corolla and HiLux respectively.

February 2017 Car Sales Data – Toyota:

Overall, 16,308 new Toyota vehicles were delivered to customers in the month - the Japanese car company’s highest February total since 2010 and a number 0.6% higher than the same month last year.

Toyota’s sales chief, Tony Cramb, welcomed the result.

“Record sales for HiLux, the arrival of the stunning C-HR and the ongoing popularity of Corolla augur well for Toyota and its customers for the rest of the year.”
