Toyota still passenger car kings in April 2017

Corolla and Camry help Toyota reach the top again in April…

A lot of focus is placed on the performance of Toyota SUVs, 4x4s and the HiLux ute, but its passenger car sales that really are the bread and butter of the brands ongoing success.

The April 2017 VFACTS car sales data shows the Corolla and Camry continued to be the best-selling models in their respective segments, while Yaris came in second to the Hyundai Accent in the light-car market.

The data also shows Holden Commodore sales dropped significantly once again, while just 7 new Ford Falcons were delivered in the month.
