Toyota Australia has confirmed pricing for the new Toyota Corolla hybrid will start from $26,990.
Available only in the hatchback body shape, the new Corolla hybrid is promising fuel consumption as low as 4.1L/100km combined with owners getting a petrol/electric powertrain that offers 100kW.
The good news also is that the hybrid version has exactly the same cargo space as the regular Corolla hatch, that’s thanks to Toyota positioning the hybrid battery pack under the rear seat.
While buyers will have just the one specification level to choose from with the new hybrid, an offering that boasts features like dual-zone air-conditioning, sat-nav, reverse camera, LED headlamps and daytime running lamps and key-less entry and ignition.
Tony Cramb is the head of sales and marketing at Toyota, he says the new Corolla hybrid has a lot to offer.
“Corolla hybrid offers Australian motorists all the advantages of the world’s all-time best-selling car and the world’s best-selling hybrid technology,”
“The hybrid version of the popular Corolla represents great value for money with its impressive equipment levels, exceptionally low running costs and the proven performance and fuel-efficiency of Toyota’s full hybrid technology,”
“With unique features such as its independent rear suspension, Corolla hybrid will also deliver the driving enjoyment, remarkable quietness and smooth operation that will make it an ideal choice for everyday motoring.”
