The new Toyota C-HR is here and not only is its the brand’s first crossover model, it’s also the first Toyota vehicle offered with full five-year capped price servicing.

Confirmed by Toyota Australia at the C-HR’s Australian launch on Thursday, the service plan offered with the new model includes annual servicing, or 15,000km intervals, for the first five years.

Normally, Toyota’s long-established capped price servicing program runs for a period of either 3 or 4 years, varying across the model range.

But, under the expended Toyota Service Advantage program for the Toyota C-HR, owners can take advantage of the capped price servicing offer for the five years at just $195 per service.

That means total servicing costs over the first five years of C-HR ownership is $975 (providing you aren’t driving significantly more kilometres than the 15,000km average).

While the capped price servicing arrangement is also fully transferable, that means if you sell your C-HR after two years the new owner can continue to enjoy the ‘locked in’ servicing costs.

Longer Toyota warranty coming?

Mr Cramb was also asked whether the five year servicing agreement was a possible glimpse of a coming five year Toyota warranty.

His response was that a longer warranty was being looked at, but there was nothing to announce right now.
