Time to submit smart ideas for trucking industry

Submissions outlining safety, business viability ideas being sought by ATA…

Got some thoughts on how the trucking industry could be improved? Well now’s the chance to get those ideas in front of industry heavyweights.

Entries for the 2017 Cummins South Pacific Scholarships are now open with road safety ideas and concepts around improving business viability being sought.

The three people who are judged to have the best ideas for the industry will win a trip to Darwin for the Trucking Australia 2017 conference.

There are some conditions around those entries, you must be an Australian trucking operator or employee, and your ideas must be summed up in 100 words or less.

Scott Alexander is the Manager On-Highway Sales & Support at Cummins South Pacific, he tells us the scholarships are a great chance to shape the industry.

“I urge everyone who has a great idea about how to improve the industry’s safety to apply for one of these scholarships and share these ideas with the world.”

Entries must be submitted via email to [email protected] by 5pm Canberra time on 31 May and will be judged by the experts at Cummins.

The winners will be announced in the ATA’s Friday Facts newsletter on the 9th of June 2017.
