The long awaited and delayed unveiling of the Tesla electric truck has been confirmed for Thursday evening (U.S. time), meaning we will have coverage for you on Friday morning Australian time.
The Tesla founder and boss, Elon Musk, confirmed the unveiling via twitter…
The confirmation that the truck would break cover this week comes after this truck was caught on film in the U.S. in October, and following a delay in the unveiling confirmed by Musk back in September.
What we know, or think we know, about the mysterious new Tesla model is that it is likely to have a drive range of up to 480 kilometres, and is likely to be a day cab model aimed at city and metro duties.
We also don’t know at this stage whether the truck will be offered in markets outside of the U.S., including Australia.
Until Friday, and to Tesla’s credit, we are all in the dark.
