Tesla delays electric truck unveiling

October now locked in for first Tesla truck reveal

The boss of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk, has announced the unveiling of the electric vehicle manufacturer’s first truck won’t take place until at least October.

Expected this month, Musk now says that won’t be happening.

“Tesla Semi truck unveil & test ride tentatively scheduled for Oct 26th,” Musk said in a tweet.

The Tesla truck is expected to boast a drive range of about 1600 kilometres on a charge and is expected to make significant strides in self-driving technology.
