Subaru off to the shops

More Subaru in-store locations

It seems to be that the traditional car dealership model is becoming increasingly an endangered species.

The focus seems to be to get the cars to the people, rather than wait for the people to come to the cars.

And that is exactly what Subaru Australia thinks.

One of the biggest investors in in-store/shopping centre locations to meet potential buyers and tempt them with a new car purchase, in this case, particularly a new Subaru XV.

Subaru has just opened three new pop-up stores, one each in the three major capitals.

All offer you the opportunity to build your new Subaru XV and then buy it!

New Subaru Pop-Up Store Locations:

  • Eastland Shopping Centre, Victoria
  • Westfield Chatswood, NSW
  • Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, QLD

Subaru boss, Colin Christie, says shoppers have responded positively to the existing stores, such as at Castle Towers in Sydney and Pacific Werribee in Melbourne.

“Convenience is a key driver for our customers and is a reflection of our Subaru ‘do’ philosophy, to remove obstacles consumers face throughout the vehicle purchase and ownership journey.

“It makes perfect sense to expand on this success and drive all-new XVs into our shopping centre stores, especially as the traditional vehicle purchase process continues to rapidly transform.”
