The next round of the Australian Rally Championship might still be some weeks away, but Subaru do ace Molly Taylor will be behind the wheel of her WRX STI in Tassie tomorrow.
Taylor, and her co-driver Bill Hayes, will be taking on the Southern Safari Tasmania this weekend.
The event, which covers 11 stages across just under 99 kilometres, has been organised by the 500 Car Club of Tasmania.
After a six-week break, which included a trip to Finland to watch some of the WRC action, Taylor says she can’t wait to get back among it in this weekends event.
“While it’s been great to have a break, with Rally South Australia due in early September, we’re glad to have the chance to get some valuable time in the car in Tasmania, even if it’s going to be a lot colder than the European summer!
“We can’t wait for the ARC to reactivate and this weekend’s Safari is a good way to prepare.”
That next round of the ARC will be the Lightforce Rally SA which will held from the 9th to the 11th of September.
