Specs announced for Jaguar XJR575

Features and specifications have been announced for the 2018 Jaguar XJR575.

The fastest XJ luxury sports saloon will be presented in two body colours of blue or grey with interior combos of jet and jet or ivory and jet upholstery on the diamond quilted seating.

Accessories like a rear spoiler, side sills, XJR575 badging, lower air intakes and twin bonnet louvres also feature along with 20” Farallon wheels in glossy black housing red callipers.

Under the bonnet is a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 packing a punch with 423kW/700Nm capable of 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 300km/h.

But the real highlights are the 4G Wi-Fi capability and large 10” touchscreen with smartphone functionality; handy for navigating the sat-nav or creating custom pages and shortcuts.

Specs announced for Jaguar XJR575Safety tech and driver assist system also have a strong presence boasting lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, forward traffic detection for times when visibility up front is restricted, and driver condition monitor which, in a nutshell, can detect driver fatigue.


Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum says the largest saloon model is what customers have grown to expect from a flagship Jaguar model.

“Anyone who sees this car immediately knows it is both great to drive and to sit in. The intricate details inside and out give owners and passengers the feeling that they are in the presence of something truly special.”

The 2018 Jaguar XJR575 goes on sale in Australia in the first quarter of next year.
