Skoda Superb sunroof recall launched

The Skoda Superb wagon has joined its Volkswagen cousin, the Passat, in being recalled over an issue with the sunroof.

Affecting 2016 models of the Skoda Superb, the Skoda Superb recall is also being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The ACCC recall notice advises that the specified limits of the roll back function of the sunroof may be exceeded when closing using the remote key.

There is a crush hazard if limbs are trapped in the sunroof during closing when using the remote key.

A letter is being sent to affected Skoda Superb owners and further information is available from Skoda Authorised Service Centre or the Skoda Customer care line on 1800 504 076.
