First look inside the Skoda electric SUV concept…
Skoda is moving towards having electric vehicles in its model line-up and this VISION E Concept is seen as a genuine glimpse of what’s on the horizon for the Czech car brand.
Set to be officially unveiled at the Auto Shanghai 2017 event next week, we have already seen external design sketches of the concept (seen here), now Skoda has given us a first look at the interior (albeit again in sketch form above and below).
Skoda CEO Bernhard Maier telling us that the design shows the characteristics of the car brand’s new design language for future EVs.
“In addition to plug-in hybrid vehicles, we will also be launching five purely electric cars on the market in various segments before 2025.
“This will enable us to offer every fourth car with electric drive.”
The Skoda VISION E interior features individually rotating seats that Skoda says make getting in and out particularly easy.
While each passenger has their own infotainment/entertainment touchscreen.
We will bring you more details on the Skoda VISION E as they come to hand in our Skoda News section.
