Randy is considering purchasing a 2016 Subaru Liberty.
It never seems to get much coverage but I reckon it has always been a good car. What’s the new one like? I’m thinking about buying one this year.
Thanks Randy and we also appreciate you listening in via our friends at radio 3GG.
The Subaru Liberty used to be nothing short of a cracker car. All-wheel drive, plenty of power and quite luxurious too, it built a really strong following in Australia.
Over the last decade the Liberty, probably even by Subaru’s own admission, has lost a little of its lustre. In saying that, Behind the Wheel’s Chris Miller and Simon Lai got a drive of the Liberty last year and both were left mostly satisfied.
Of the current generation model, Chris says that that Liberty offers very good value for money and excellent features. If the budget will stretch that far then have a close look at the Subaru Liberty 3.6R, this one comes with 191kW and 350Nm.
With Subaru Capped Price Servicing available he reckons you should go for it!
Simon was happy with both versions of the Liberty, the four-cylinder and six-cylinder and was surprised about the features that the Subaru models offered as standard.
As always, there are plenty of options, though if you have your heart set on a Subaru Liberty this year Ralph then we reckon there’s no good reason not to get one in your driveway.
