Should I buy a 2011 Hyundai Accent?

Mark is back looking at a Hyundai Accent this time.

Should I buy a 2011 Hyundai Accent? Another option could be the much-maligned Nissan TIIDA, according to Chris Miller.

Hey guys, I wrote to you a few weeks ago looking for some car advice in regards to decent vehicles costing around $10,000 (check out that letter and responses here).

Thank you, I did go and drive a 2010 Ford Falcon on Chris Millers recommendation. Yes, nice car, only problem is it’s a bit too big. I now have my eye on a 2011 Hyundai Accent, what do you think about that?

Chris Miller – Yeah, no real issues with a good late model Hyundai Accent. Other options, especially for potentially better resale value, would include the Toyota Corolla and the Nissan TIIDA (though the styling is a bit…well, ugly!).

Peter Hitchener – So long as you feel you are getting a good price on the Accent then I think it will be a good little goer for you.

Joel Helmes – Hey Mark, check out my review of the Hyundai Accent from around that time. Look, it’s an alright little car, nothing better or worse though than a number of others, including the Kia Rio. So long as it hasn’t travelled too many kilometres and looks in good shape I don’t think you can go too wrong. Just don’t expect the little Hyundai to provide any motoring thrills!

Simon Lai – I’m a fan of the Korean products and I reckon, so long as that’s the size of car you are after, then I give my thumbs up.
