All-new Honda CR-V will be available with third-row seating…
Honda Australia has just confirmed that the new-generation Honda CR-V will offer Australian mid-size SUV buyers the option of seven seats.
Traditionally a five-seat vehicle, the keenly anticipated new Honda SUV will arrive in July and, aside from the option of the additional seating, the CR-V will also welcome a 140kW turbocharged engine.
Honda telling us the new engine will deliver the power customers want as well as the fuel efficiency they don’t expect from an SUV.
While the Japanese car company is also promising a quieter cabin and better on road manners, and that reinforces the critical success that the new CR-V has proven to be already overseas (details here).
Honda boss Stephen Collins tells us Honda is ready to be a serious player in the SUV market.
“Family buyers will also appreciate the versatility afforded by being able to choose between a five, or seven-seat models.
“Our customers have been asking for this level of versatility and now we’ll deliver it.”
